Águas do Algarve publishes the second edition of the “Water and the Sea for me” project

There will be several exhibitions over the next few months

The second edition of the project “Water and the Sea for me”, promoted by Águas do Algarve within the scope of the company's strategy in the areas of Communication, Environmental Education and Social Responsibility, aimed at users of Private Social Solidarity Institutions will be presented this month.

The activity, which aimed to promote reflection and awareness of the importance and appreciation of Water and the Sea, associated with the situation of water scarcity experienced in the Algarve, gives rise to the artistic ability of elderly people and people
with disabilities, in addition to pre-school children with identified needs.

The result of this 2nd edition culminates in the presentation of 22 pieces where, through a simple umbrella, «these
institutions prove that creativity has no limits, and art can flourish in every corner of our community», says Águas do Algarve.

The Umbrella Exhibition, which due to its size will be divided into two, will be available to visit in various locations in the Algarve, on dates that will soon be announced.

The dates already scheduled are: Instituto Português da Juventude, Faro, (opening of the exhibition on the 4th of March, at 15pm, and closing on the 00st of the same month; Conservatório Regional do Algarve Maria Campina, Faro (opening of
exhibition on March 19th, at 19pm, and closing on April 00th); Gran-Plaza shopping center, Tavira (opening of the exhibition on the 30st of June, at 1pm, and closing on the 15th.

«As part of our environmental commitment, the company not only recognizes, but also prioritizes the importance of environmental education in what is our daily activity. We are committed to raising awareness and training different audiences about sustainable practices, leaving no one behind», explains Águas do Algarve, arguing that these actions must cover the entire community.
