A 23-year-old young man, arrested on January 31st, on suspicion of robbing a goldsmith shop in Quarteira, was remanded in custody.
According to the Judiciary Police, the detainee, who did not act alone, "is strongly accused of committing the crime of robbery, on November 17th of last year", and was detained at home.
The young man was brought to court yesterday afternoon and was sentenced to preventive detention.
