The Municipal Museum of Olhão hosted, last Friday, February 16th, the first workshop for municipal technicians integrated into the Municipal Climate Action Plan that is being prepared by the company CEDRU (Center for Studies and Regional and Urban Development) for the Municipality from Olhão.
The Municipal Climate Action Plan is a document that responds to the legal requirements imposed in the Climate Base Law, being a reference instrument for territorial management with regard to combating climate change in the municipality of Olhão.
This meeting was the culmination of phase 3 (emissions inventory), whose main purpose was to define the base framework for the design of the local mitigation policy and the municipal decarbonization roadmap.
According to the Chamber of Olhão, «the presentation of the report and the intervention of those present were enlightening, proving to be a good increment for the continuation of the work».
