Maximum temperatures will rise from tomorrow, Tuesday, May 7th, with maximum temperatures expected to exceed 30 degrees in the Algarve, Alentejo and Tagus Valley.
According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), maximum temperatures will rise tomorrow by around five degrees and rise again in the same order on Wednesday.
The hottest Algarve municipality will be, as usual, Alcoutim, where maximum temperatures will even exceed 30 degrees, between Wednesday and Sunday. A similar situation will happen in Silves.
Minimum temperatures only rise on Wednesday, so this Monday and tomorrow mornings will still be cold.
Although the heat invites you to the beach, temperatures in the sea water should not exceed 18 degrees in the Barlavento region in the coming days, and little more than that in the Sotavento region.
