Navy rescues two crew from rowing boat near Portimão

The Navy rescued, early today, two crew members of the rowing vessel “Adrenaline”, which was rammed by another fishing vessel 8 nautical miles, around 15 kilometers, south of Portimão.

In a note, the Navy explains that, after contact with the Captaincy of Portimão, the lifeboat “SR-43” was immediately mobilized, and the rescue and towing of the vessel was completed this morning, by around 8:00 am, with arrival at the port of Lagos.

«The Navy and the National Maritime Authority remain committed to working together, strengthening maritime safety and responding efficiently to emergencies», says the note.
