A man was arrested this weekend, in flagrante delicto, for possession of a prohibited weapon, in Vila Real de Santo António.
The arrest occurred during an action aimed at combating crimes in the city of Vila Real de Santo António.
During this action, police from the Criminal Investigation Brigade detected an individual, with a known criminal record, «whose attitude and attempt to evade police control raised suspicions», says the PSP.
After a search, it was found that the suspect had hidden an extendable baton.
