The Vila Real de Santo António School Group renovated a multisensory room, with the aim of allowing the development of students' cognitive, communicative, social, motor and educational skills.
This was an initiative in which AdVRSA – Águas de Vila Real de Santo António joined.
By subscribing to each electronic invoice during the months of August to October, AdVRSA – Águas de Vila Real de Santo António, a company in the Aquapor group, donated the floor of the Snoezelen room, contributing to the project developed by the group.
The initiative aims to offer students with greater limitations a space where they can find the human and material resources necessary to establish quality interactions and build meaningful learning.
«The company has a social responsibility policy that we continually seek to develop through actions like this. Education, in particular, is a fundamental pillar of our society, which is why we wanted to participate in this project», says Gonçalo Pacheco, general director of AdVRSA – Águas de Vila Real de Santo António.
«Our Snoezelen room is increasingly comfortable and welcoming. Our project had another partner, AdVRSA – Águas de Vila Real de Santo António, who completed another stage to have an increasingly complete room, through the installation of a vinyl floor", says Special Education teacher Carla Santos, in name of the Vila Real de Santo António School Group and the students who use this space.
The initiative allows students to attend secondary education between the 7th and 12th year of the Vila Real de Santo António School Group.
