“The Last Drop_Algarve”: Aljezur receives exhibition on the importance of water

The exhibition opens on March 9th and has free entry

“A Última Gota_Algarve” is the exhibition that the Municipality of Aljezur will host from the 9th of March, at Espaço Multiusos, in which topics such as the availability of water at a global and local level, water stress and the evolution of the state are addressed drought in Portugal.

The exhibition, supported by the Environmental Fund, is part of an awareness campaign that has already visited several municipalities in the Algarve and which aims to promote a conscious change in attitudes and behaviors regarding the use of water.

In this exhibition, visitors are invited to actively participate in a learning initiative and share their impressions.

The exhibition also includes other additional educational materials, including a short film and a giant board game for younger audiences.

This initiative, carried out in collaboration with Almargem – Association for the Defense of Cultural and Environmental Heritage of the Algarve, will be open to the public every Saturday morning, at Espaço Multiusos de Aljezur (EMA), from 8:00 am to 13:00 pm, providing an educational and interactive discussion on the importance of water conservation.

Admission is free.
