The Municipality of São Brás de Alportel reinforced the availability of Personal Protection equipment for the Municipality's Forest Sappers Team, in an investment that exceeded 4.300 euros and was financed by the Environmental Fund.
In a note, the municipality emphasizes that it provided the team of Municipal Forestry Sappers with a set of personal protective equipment, “fundamental to ensuring their safety when carrying out daily preventive forestry work, which has been extraordinarily important in the priority mission of preventing rural fires».
The Municipality also states that it “remains committed to supporting its dedicated teams and will continue to promote measures that reinforce the safety and effectiveness of those who work to protect the community and its natural resources”.
