Quarteira: Thousands entered the new year with the sound of D.A.M.A

This program was organized by the Municipality of Loulé and had the support of the Quarteira Parish Council.

New Year's Eve in Quarteira was a success with thousands of people welcoming 2024 at Passeio das Dunas, next to the beach.

The traditional Corrida de S. Silvestre opened the festivities program, on the 28th, with one of the largest attendances ever – around 1500 registered -, who together with many other visitors toured the city that night.

On December 29th, the Flashback Jukebox project and local artist Marc Noah performed the honors of the house, bringing together around 4 thousand people.

“Money for Nothing” or “Sultans of Swing” were two of the songs that sounded on the 30th, during a tribute to Dire Straits, the mythical British band. This was followed by DJ Kamala's performance.

On New Year's Eve, the house DJ, Luís Luz, opened the stage, which was beginning to fill up.

This was followed by D.A.M.A who dazzled thousands of people who headed to Passeio das Dunas to enter the year 2024 in the best way.

There were also fireworks and a concert by the reggae band “Quem é o Bob?” which cheered up the thousands of people who did not leave the Passeio das Dunas.

«Many thousands came here, showing that the coast of the municipality of Loulé is a reference for entertainment, with a high level of hotel, restaurant, commerce, sports, leisure and recreation equipment on offer. We know how to welcome and create events that please spectators and this makes all the difference when choosing a destination to spend the New Year», highlight municipal officials.
