Rubina Correia, clinical director for the area of Primary Health Care, and Carla Aleluia, until now director of the Financial Service of the Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve, who is now the financial executive member, are two more names to join the Board of Directors of the new Algarve Local Health Unit.
With the appointment of these two people, all that is left is the appointment of a member by the Algarve Intermunicipal Community (AMAL) to complete the Board of Directors of the new structure, which came into operation on January 1st.
These two names join João Ferreira, president of the Board of Directors of ULSAlg, Paulo Neves, executive member, Mariana Santos (nurse director) and José Manuel Lourenço da Silva Almeida (clinical director), who move from CHUA, like the Sul Informação reported this morning.
Rubina Correia is a General and Family Medicine doctor, having provided technical advice to the Board of Directors of the Algarve Regional Health Administration, from 2019 to 2023.
It is now responsible for Primary Health Care, previously provided by the Health Center Groups (ACeS), in Barlavento, Central and Sotavento, and coordinated by ARS Algarve.
