A 46-year-old man, suspected of drug trafficking and who had an outstanding arrest warrant for offenses to physical integrity and threats, was arrested this Friday, January 5th, in Faro.
According to the PSP, the «suspect was arrested following an investigation into drug trafficking that had been ongoing for around half a year, and a home search warrant was executed at his home».
The search resulted in the seizure of 80 individual doses of cocaine, as well as several cell phones and other instruments used for trafficking.
Furthermore, the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in his name, to serve an effective prison sentence for the crime of physical harm and threats, and for this reason he was taken to the Prison of Faro.
