Farense beats Casa Pia and climbs to seventh place in the I League

Farense now has 24 points

Farense won today, January 20th, at Casa Pia by 3-1, in the 18th round of the XNUMXst Football League, which allows the Algarve team to climb to seventh place in the competition.

The set of Faro, which thus overturned the defeat in the last round at home to Algarve rival Portimonense, reached the break already leading 2-0, with goals from Marco Matias (24 minutes) and Muscat (40), with Bruno Duarte extending it to 3- 0, at 75, against a Casa Pia team that recorded their second consecutive defeat and only reduced the score in the 87th minute, by Fernando Andrade.

With this triumph, Farense rises from eighth to seventh place, now with 24 points, while Casa Pia is three places below, in 10th, with 19 points.
