Two young people arrested for attacks in Praia da Rocha with the help of video surveillance

According to the PSP, the attacks took place «apparently without any justifying reason»

Two 22-year-old young people were arrested for attacking a man, last Saturday, December 30th, in Praia da Rocha (Portimão). The suspects were identified by the video surveillance system in this area. 

According to the PSP, the attacks took place «apparently without any justifying reason». The victim suffered “several injuries” and had to undergo “clinical monitoring”.

After the attacks, the two young people fled and were only identified due to the Praia da Rocha video surveillance system. Both were arrested yesterday, January 3rd.

The suspects were constituted as defendants, subject to an Identity and Residence Term and interrogated.
