Lagoa Municipal Library hosts “Atlântida” Meeting Cycle

Sessions take place in February and March

The Lagoa Municipal Library will host, on February 23rd, at 18pm, the 00st Meeting of the “Atlântida” Meeting Cycle, under the topic “Atlântida: fantasy or reality? The Tale of the Wise Solon”, by the Archaeosophical Association.

This will be just the first of four meetings dedicated to the myth of the disappeared civilization, Atlantis.

«It is the great Greek philosopher Plato who speaks of this legendary continent in his works “Timaeus” and “Critias”. The events he illustrates are presented as a reality so ancient that the memory of him was forgotten by men, but entrusted to the “Memory” of an ancient tradition through the ancient Egyptians », writes the Municipality of Lagoa.

The second meeting is scheduled for March 1st, with the theme “Atlantis and the memories of the sea”, the third will take place on the 8th, with the theme “On the track of Atlantis: where Ancient Time left its marks”, and the The fourth and final one addresses “The heritage of Atlantis” and is scheduled for March 15th.
