Barras de Alvor and Lagos remain closed to all navigation

In addition to the two Algarve regions, there is only conditioning in the north

The bars of Alvor and Lagos, on the south coast of the Algarve, remain closed to all navigation this Sunday, due to strong maritime agitation, indicated the National Maritime Authority.

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) placed the district of Faro under yellow warning due to forecast southeasterly waves measuring two to 2,5 meters on the south coast.

In addition to the two bars in the Algarve, only those in Douro and Esposende, on the north coast of the country, are closed to navigation. There are also two conditioned bars, Póvoa do Varzim and Vila do Conde.
