The Cantares de Janeiras and Charolas take place on Three Kings Day, January 6th, from 19:30 pm, in the São Pedro do Mar Church Hall, in Quarteira.
This year, the Cantares de Janeiras and Charolas feature Tuna from Academia do Saber; Janeiras Song Group «A Força da Tradição» by Paderne; Charola from the Casa do Povo of Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo; Friendship Group; Periyoung; Quarteira Scouts; Charola from the Casa do Povo de Conceição de Faro; Charolas from Barreiras Brancas; Charolas from Estoi (Aldeia Branca) and Charola from the Philharmonic Band 1st December Moncarapacho.
«The Cantares de Janeiras and Charolas are always a special moment of conviviality and sharing in our parish. The change of location to the São Pedro do Mar Church Hall aims to offer better conditions to all participants and the public and improve the quality of the event.», says Telmo Pinto, president of the Quarteira Parish Council.
