The new hydraulic rubber-tracked excavator equipped with a forestry shredder, recently acquired by the Municipality of Monchique, is already at the municipal construction site, the municipality announced.
The new equipment was purchased within the scope of the Monchique and Silves Landscape Reorganization and Management Program (100% financing, Environmental Fund), «with the aim of providing municipal teams with even better conditions for their intervention in other projects permanently underway by the municipality”.
This is an investment of approximately 136 thousand euros.
«The acquisition of this type of equipment materializes this executive's policy in renewing the vehicle fleet in the Municipality of Monchique, in favor of a service that is up to its responsibilities, with a reduction in maintenance costs», explained the Chamber.
