French show ends the National Odyssey program in Loulé

The French show is the last to be presented by D. Maria II in 2023

The play “La vie invisible”, created and staged by Lorraine de Sagazan, premieres in Portugal this Friday, December 15th, at 21pm, at Cineteatro Louletano, as part of the National Odyssey of the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II .

The French show is the last to be presented by D. Maria II in 2023, after a year with a program entirely outside, in which the Theater developed more than 100 artistic projects across the country.

In 2024, the National Odyssey project will continue to tour the country, in a partnership between the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II and dozens of municipalities.

This is a show by French director Lorraine de Sagazan based on a text by French author Guillaume Poix, based on testimonies from blind and visually impaired people.

The show is spoken in French and has subtitles in Portuguese and audio description.

D. Maria II sessions with accessibility resources are supported by the Ageas Portugal Group. “La vie invisible” is part of the Future Scenarios program, the third thought event developed by D. Maria II throughout the year, with the aim of reflecting on culture and the country through theater.

The day before the presentation of the show, Thursday, December 14th, at 18:00 pm, at Palácio Gama Lobo, in Loulé, the book “The invisible life”, by Guillaume Poix, will also be launched, in a TNDM II / Bicho-do edition -Mato (Theater Texts collection).

This Portuguese edition of the show's text will also be released in a Braille version, the first edition of D. Maria II to be available in this format.
