São Silvestre Race returns to Quarteira

The race is organized by Quarteira Night Runners and Associação Free Challenge

The São Silvestre de Quarteira Race takes place on the night of December 28th, at 20:30 pm, starting at Passeio das Dunas.

There will be two routes, 5 and 10 kilometers long, and at the end it will be possible to enjoy a moment of conviviality with bolo-rei and tea.

The event marks the beginning of four days of entertainment, included in the Loulé municipality's end-of-year program.

São Silvestre Quarteira was created and maintained by the Quarteira Night Runners group and has grown with each passing year, now becoming a reference at national level.

Registration is free and can be done via the race's Facebook page and the Crono AAAlgarve website.

«This is an event that has thousands of participants and brings a new dynamic to our parish and the municipality. We will continue to work to promote physical activity and boost tourism in the region», highlights Telmo Pinto, president of the Quarteira Parish Council.

The race is organized by Quarteira Night Runners and Associação Free Challenge, with the support of Quarteira Parish Council, Loulé City Council and Algarve Athletics Association.
