Three deputies from the Algarve and one from Beja support Pedro Nuno Santos to lead the PS

Pedro Nuno's candidacy for PS leadership claims to have the support of 79 of the 120 deputies

Pedro Nuno Santos' candidacy for the position of general secretary of the PS claims to have the support of 79 of the 120 socialist deputies, including the vice-presidents of the bench Porfírio Silva, Pedro Delgado Alves and Rui Lage.

The list of supporting deputies sent to the Lusa agency by the source of the former Minister of Infrastructure and Housing's candidacy also includes the national secretary of the PS with responsibility for administration, Vera Braz.

Of the 41 deputies remaining outside the list of supporters, according to the same source, some of them have not yet expressed any position between the candidacies of the former JS leader and the current Minister of Internal Administration, José Luís Carneiro.
