Speech therapy in childhood discussed in Loulé with free participation

“Speech Therapy in Childhood – Warning signs and areas of intervention” is the theme of the next “Cycle of Conversations Sow Today…Reap Tomorrow…”, which returns to the Municipal Library of Loulé, on the 24th of November, at 18:30 pm , with free entry.

The session will be led by therapist Cristina Pimenta and aims to “raise awareness about communicative and linguistic development considered appropriate in various age groups, as well as warning signs and areas of intervention”.

Cristina Pimenta has a degree in Speech Therapy, with a postgraduate degree in Neurodevelopment and a postgraduate degree in Baby and Family Sciences. She has worked in the area of ​​Pediatrics, working with children with developmental disorders, specifically children with communication disorders and also with changes in eating, language, speech, reading and writing.

In a note, the Loulé Chamber explains that the “Cycle of Conversations Sow Today…Reap Tomorrow…” aims to challenge the general public to share and reflect on various topics, promoting and empowering the general well-being of each person, as well as as well as their respective families.

As has happened in previous sessions, during the initiative, children aged 3 years and over can participate in an activity dedicated to promoting books and reading promoted by library professionals, upon prior registration.
