Tavira presents last session “Listening and reading makes you grow!”

As part of the project “Listening and reading makes you grow!”, the last session of this cycle, “A little house of mice”, will take place on November 18th, at 15:30 pm. which includes the presentation of the book “Frederico e Constantina” and the visual arts workshop by writer, illustrator and artist Ana Rita Janeiro.

Throughout the activity, a wooden house will be used, created from reusable materials, with handcrafted details that will be revealed.

The action also includes a workshop that aims to awaken interest in the plastic arts and appeal to the creativity of children who will have the opportunity to “decorate and decorate their little mouse, thus creating their own character”, which can then be used as toy, bookmark, magnet or decorative object.

The initiative, lasting approximately 60 minutes, is aimed at children between 3 and 6 years old (maximum 25 registrations), accompanied by an adult.

«These sessions allow for discovery and playful learning, exploring the imagination and motivating children and their families to create regular reading habits», says the Municipality of Tavira.
