Results of the Monitur project presented in Faro

The results of the Monitur project – Observation and Monitoring of the Algarve Tourist Destination: Contributions to its Sustainable Development will be presented on December 0th, at 11:14 pm, in the auditorium of the Algarve Tourism Region.

This session, aimed at regional stakeholders, will feature João Albino Silva, Jorge Andraz, Rui Nunes, Luís Nobre Pereira and Joel Guerreiro, all of whom are researchers and teachers at the University of Algarve.

«Results will be released on the perceptions of residents, tourists and companies on aspects of the sustainability of tourism in the Algarve and an information system will be presented to support the decisions of regional stakeholders», according to RTA, which promotes the event in partnership with the team from the University of Algarve responsible for this study to support the activities of the Observatory for Sustainable Tourism in the Algarve.

This study was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) / Portugal 2020 / CRESC Algarve 2020 Operational Program.
