Registration to participate in “Paderne Medieval 2023/2024”, which returns between the 29th of December and the 1st of January, has already opened and runs until the 30th of November.
Interested parties must request a registration form via email to [email protected]. Given that registrations are limited, the organization emphasizes that it will give preference to exhibitors from the Parish of Paderne and the municipality of Albufeira, with the selection being their exclusive responsibility.
In a note, the Albufeira Chamber explains that participation as an exhibitor results from registration with the Municipality, and individuals and artisans, groups, associations of artisans and other entities can participate in the event, as long as they are legally constituted for the purpose.
The event is based on the recreation of the historical and ethnographic context of the XNUMXth century, namely the ceremony handing over the Letter of Donation of the Castle of Paderne, by D. Dinis, to the Order of Avis, through the holding of a historical parade and a medieval market , with the placement of stalls and stalls, to which a diverse entertainment program is associated.
