The GNR created a proximity office at the headquarters of the Union of Parishes of São Miguel do Pinheiro, São Pedro de Sólis and São Sebastião dos Carros, in Mértola, Beja, to “expand the capacity to serve” citizens.
The new proximity office, which is the result of a cooperation protocol between Guarda and the union of parishes, operates on Mondays, from 10:00 to 12:00, and on Thursdays, from 14:00 to 16:00.
According to the municipality, the new service allows “to expand the capacity to serve citizens, facilitating and bringing citizens closer to GNR services, as well as helping all those who have difficulties in traveling to their territorial posts”.
