Drawings by Tara Ezaguy Bongard on display at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes

Artist has been based in Portugal since 2005

Drawings by artist Tara Ezaguy Bongard will be on display until January 2nd, at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes, in Portimão,

This exhibition brings together graphite drawings of the Algarve's nature, created from «observations of animals such as owls, rabbits, goats and much more», according to the artist, who, despite being born in London, is the daughter of Portuguese-British parents. and lived his childhood between England and Portugal.

20% of the revenue from the sales of works exhibited at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes will go to the Monchique Firefighters, «who have done so much to protect people and wildlife».

After completing her studies in England, Tara Ezaguy Bongard traveled through America, Turkey and the Middle East, dedicating herself to drawing.

He apprenticed in carpentry, painting and glass fusing in Israel, where he lived for 10 years. He came to live permanently in Portugal in 2005, dedicating himself fully to ceramic sculpture in 2008, continuing to draw as a hobby.
