“Play safe while taking risks” project returns to Albufeira

The Municipality of Albufeira will resume the activities of the “Playing Safe Running Risks” project, covering all parishes in the municipality. 

The activities of this edition, which is already the 13th, begin on October 21st, from 10:30 am, on the Pista de Corta-Mato das Açoteias.

With this initiative, the Municipality intends to «encourage outdoor play, stimulate the sensory and creative side of young people, encourage socialization between children and adults, promote a sense of community, respect for nature and public space».

«It is important to grow up with the opportunity to climb trees and fall, roll around on the ground and fight in “pretend”. To the
promoting outdoor activities there is no need to have specific, very elaborate and expensive materials, or even
infrastructures such as playgrounds so that the little ones can have “great” fun playing», highlights the Albufeira municipality.

The next activities are scheduled for November 18th (Albufeira Marina, Parque Poente), January 27th (Paderne – João Campos Parking Lot), February 24th (Guia – Parque dos 5 Sentidos), March 23rd (Albufeira – Vale Garden Faro), April 27th (Albufeira – Parque da Alfarrobeira) and May 25th (Albufeira – Praça dos Pescadores).
