The “Tavira Cultura 30” plan promoted six consultation sessions with cultural agents in the municipality, from the 26th to the 30th of September, with 95% participation.
«These actions were attended by 78 participants representing 57 entities, which demonstrated the level of interest on the part of the local cultural sector», says the Câmara de Tavira.
Furthermore, «the consultation process continues, on the ground, with technical visits to spaces and equipment», he adds.
Representatives of visual and performing arts, music, cinema and audiovisual, books and publishing, heritage and the associative community were present at these sessions, in which the work plan to be developed until the end of 2030 was presented and contributions were collected about the development of this area.
The “Tavira Cultura 2030” plan aims to implement a medium and long-term municipal cultural strategy. This is prepared by a multidisciplinary team that includes municipal technicians and external experts.
