“Petricor” to see in Loulé

The exhibition can be visited until November 4th

“Petricor”, a work created by Jorge Graça for the Porto Photography Biennial, will be visible from this Saturday, October 7th, at the Art Gallery of the Convento do Espírito Santo, in Loulé.

The exhibition was created within the scope of the Sustentar Project.

The artist's project derives from a place of listening, empathy and proximity to the natural landscape of Loulé. Starting from an archaeological perspective that identifies ancestral knowledge and traditions, “Petricor” evokes the urgency of preserving threatened ecosystems and implementing regenerative processes that ensure sustainable use of this vital and finite resource: water.

The “Petricor” exhibition is the result of the work developed within the scope of the Sustentar / Geoparque creation laboratory, in partnership with the Loulé City Council, within the scope of the Bienal'23 Fotografia do Porto.

The inauguration is scheduled for this Friday, October 6th, at 18pm.

The exhibition can be visited until November 4th, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 am to 13:30 pm and from 14:30 pm to 18:00 pm.
