Loulé hosts international symposium on literature and literary tourism

Organized by the Center for Research in Arts and Communication

The II International Symposium on Literature and Tourism Methodologies and Literary Tourism will take place on October 13th, in Loulé. 

The initiative is organized by “Lit&Tour” – Research Group in Literature and Tourism, of the Center for Research in Arts and Communication (CIAC).

In the morning, presentations are planned (from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm) at the Loulé Islamic Baths and, in the afternoon, a literary tour (from 14:30 pm to 16:30 pm), promoted by the Municipality.

The event is an opportunity to learn about and reflect on a set of projects related to the rehabilitation and redefinition of spaces (neighborhoods, parks, hotels), through a connection to literary heritage.

It will be attended by keynote speakers Charlie Mansfield (UK Management College), Veronica Baldassa (Università degli Studi di Padova), Fabrizio Boscaglia (Universidade Lusófona) and Dora Tormenta (Art and Soul Group, Lisboa Pessoa Hotel).

The II International Symposium on Literature and Tourism Methodologies and Literary Tourism has the support of the University of Algarve, the Foundation for Science and Technology and the Municipality of Loulé.
