Faro will receive, on the 30th and 31st of October, qualification for the final stages of the national university handball championships.
The Penha Municipal Pavilion is the stage chosen for this, the first concentrated round of the 2023/24 season, which will feature eight teams competing.
In this concentrated round, the first two teams guarantee access to the final stage, while the third placed team will compete in a play-off.
Last season, the team from the Academic Association of the University of Aveiro won first place in the NCS 22/23 and the University of Minho won, months later, the title of national university champion, in the Final Stages – Viana do Castelo 2023.
The organization is in charge of the Academic Federation of University Sports (FADU), together with the Academic Association of the University of Algarve, and the event will be covered through Social Networks and the FADU Portal.
The event is co-organized by the Academic Federation of University Sports (FADU) and the Academic Association of the University of Algarve (AAUAlg).
