The beginning of the academic year at the Universidade do Tempo Livre (UTL) in Castro Marim includes a presentation on October 18th, in the Municipal Library auditorium, at 16:30 pm, and also with a show by comedian Jorge Serafim.
Despite serving to mark the month of the elderly, the show is open to the entire community. Anyone who wants to participate must register with the Odiana association, calling 281 531 171.
As in the previous year, the Universidade do Tempo Livre will unfold in ten locations in the municipality: Altura, S. Bartolomeu, Rio Seco, Castro Marim, Monte Francisco, Junqueira, Azinhal, Corte Pequena, Alta Mora and Furnazinhas.
In relation to the training offer, courses that have a greater number of interested parties should continue, such as Decorative Arts, Lace, Trapology, Dance, Meditation and IT.
«The exchange of experiences, knowledge and affection is the driving force behind UTL de Castro Marim, a project that has existed since 2010 and has greatly contributed to the promotion of active aging and a better quality of life», recalls the municipality in note.
UTL is an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Castro Marim in partnership with the Odiana association, in the context of synergies created with other projects supported by the Municipality.
