Águas do Algarve company challenges IPSS for artistic competition

The initial edition was a success with around 30 registrants

The new “Water and the Sea for Me” competition will challenge users of the Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS) in the Algarve to reflect on water and the sea and develop an artistic piece, dedicated to these themes, based on a umbrella.

The initial edition was a success with around 30 registrants.

The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of Águas do Algarve's activities in the region (water supply in excellent quantity and quality, for human consumption as well as the treatment of urban wastewater in accordance with the highest standards of quality and reliability) through of education through art.

Integrated into the celebrations of “National Sea Day” on November 16th and included in the Environmental Education and Social Responsibility Project “Water Challenge – Savings Without Borders”, and in the Water is Life Awareness Campaign, the artistic competition “Water and the Mar para Mim” «intends to be an opportunity to exercise collective creativity, awareness and awareness of the challenges that water and the sea face today», says the company Águas do Algarve.
