A gathering on the future of medronho brandy production in Cachopo, a visit to the medronheiro orchards and the Monte dos Relvais still, a musical moment and tasting make up this year's “Cachopo Natural” program, scheduled for October 28th.
The program starts at 13:30 pm, at the Relvais Community Center, with the gathering “Cachopo and the Production of Aguardente de Medronho, what future?”, with professor Ludovina Galego, from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia at the University of Algarve, moderated by the journalist from Sul Informação Mariana Carriço.
A visit to the strawberry tree orchards is scheduled for 14:30 pm, guided by those responsible for the Relvais Community Center. This is followed, at 15:30 pm, by a visit to the Monte dos Relvais Alambique and, at 16:00 pm, by a musical moment with singer Sara Badalo and the Algarve Jazz Orchestra Quartet (program included in the Cachopo Music Festival).
Finally, at 17pm, there is a tasting of products derived from medronho.
Participation in the event is free and open to everyone.
