“Louise Michel”, the new creation by Ana Borralho & João Galante, takes place this Saturday, October 7th, from 21:30 pm, on the stage of Teatro das Figuras, in Faro.
Anarchy and the struggle of Louise Michel, a group of women with black flags raised, a text by Rodrigo García and a song by Radiohead.
This could well be the summary of the new creation by the duo Ana Borralho & João Galante who returns, this season, to new creations.
On October 7th, at 21:30 pm, Teatro das Figuras in Faro witness the world premiere of “Louise Michel”, the new performance based on the text “You should have stayed at home, you idiots”, by Rodrigo García and “Exit music (for a film)”, a song included on the album OK Computer by Radiohead.
On stage, ten women (Ana Catarina Santos, Ana Freitas, Ana Inês Azevedo, Ana Vaz, Beatriz Costa, Daniela Santos, Elizabete Francisca, Inês Marques, Maria Roque, Rafaela de Lima) highlight the female role in the formation of political and social movements , challenging its traditional representation in the public sphere.
