Aljezur requalifies the municipality’s water reservoirs

Work is already underway

Aljezur City Council is rehabilitating water tanks in various parts of the municipality, with the aim of improving the water supply network in the municipality.

The project is already underway to rehabilitate the water deposits in Carrapateira and Barreiras Vermelhas, interventions budgeted at 114.400 euros and with an execution period of 90 days.

The Vale da Telha deposit will also be subject to improvements, with «the replacement of the switchgear and electrical system, as the existing one is starting to present operating problems, not responding to the needs of this water supply infrastructure in the Vale da Telha area, in a investment of around 50 thousand euros», according to Aljezur City Council.

«The procedure for the execution project – architecture and specialties – of the water tank in Covate, Aljezur, was also launched. This work will guarantee better water supply conditions in the town», he adds.
