The 11th Cycle of Choral Encounters in Terras do Infante, promoted by the Grupo Coral de Lagos Association, begins today, October 22nd, and ends on November 5th.
Today is the 21st Meeting of Children's and Youth Choirs in Lagos, the Algarve Choir Festival is scheduled for the 28th and 29th and the Cycle Closing Concert – EQUINOX is scheduled for the 5th of November.
Furthermore, the event will take to some locations in the Barlavento Algarvio, such as Lagos, Luz, and Bensafrim, choral concerts performed by groups from other regions of the country.
On the 22nd, there is the opening at the Church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, Lagos, at 15:30 pm.
The concert at the XXI Meeting of Children's and Youth Choirs in Lagos features the participation of the Lagos Children's and Youth Choir, the Regina Coeli Youth Choir and the Children's Choir Group of the Municipality of Ourique.
On the 28th, at 19pm, at the Parish Church of Bensafrim, the Allegretus Choir performs, and at 00pm, at the Church of Nossa Senhora da Luz, the LeGatto and AdesbAcapella Choirs take the stage.
At 15:30 pm on the 29th, the Grupo Coral de Lagos, Coro Allegretus, Coros Legatto and AdesbAcapella will be present at the Church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo.
Finally, on the 5th, there is the closing concert, at 15:30 pm, at the Church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, with EQUINOX – Concert-performance by Nova Era Schola.
All concerts are free to enter.
