Three beaches in Albufeira closed to swimming due to “strong flooding caused by intense rain”

The ban will remain in place until analyzes reveal that the water quality is within reference parameters

The beaches of Santa Eulália, Alemães and Inatel were banned from bathing today, September 4, after microbiological values ​​above the reference parameters were detected, due to "a strong alluvium caused by intense rain", announced the Authority National Maritime.

«After receiving information from the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) advising against going swimming on the beaches of Santa Eulália, Alemães and Inatel, the Algarve Health Delegate gave instructions for the red flag to be raised, warnings have been placed at the access points to the beaches, prohibiting going to baths», described the entity.

This ban will remain in place until the results of water quality analyzes indicate that it is no longer unsuitable for bathing.
