The Albufeira Municipal Rally is back on the 9th and 10th of September.
The race, which is an initiative of the Clube Automóvel do Sul with support from the Municipality, under the auspices of the Portuguese Automobile and Karting Federation, scores points for the Start Sul Rally Championship, Promo Rally Championship, 6th Khumo Asfalto e Sul Challenge and Extra rally.
On the 9th, Saturday, Avenida dos Descobrimentos is the stage chosen for the nightly Super Special.
Starting at 21pm, between the Albufeira Firefighters intersection and the Relógios roundabout, over a length of more than two kilometres, the Super Special hosts competitions and demonstrations of drift and stunts.
On Sunday the 10th, the last day of competition, the Rally will take place in three stages. In Guia, the Rally starts at 10:15, 12:17 and 14:19; in Ferreiras at 10:33 am, 12:35 pm and 14:37 pm and, in Paderne, at 10:54 am, 12:56 pm and 14:58 pm.
Due to the event, some of the roads will suffer constraints during competition times, however traffic will flow in accordance with the recommendations of the National Republican Guard.
The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, from 16pm, on the podium in front of the Albufeira City Council building.
