Marcelo returns to the Algarve to participate in a meeting at the University of Algarve

This will be the President of the Republic's second visit to the region this week

Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa will participate, this Friday, September 29th, in the National Meeting “Prevenir é Intervir” – National Strategy for the Integration of Homeless People (ENIPSSA) which takes place in the Grand Auditorium of the Campus of Gambelas from the University of Algarve, in Faro. 

This will be the President of the Republic's second visit to the region this week, after having participated yesterday, the 27th, at a World Tourism Day conference in Albufeira. 

This ENIPSSA meeting will begin at 9:30 am and will serve to take stock of the current strategy and lay the foundations for the next one.

Pilot projects in the area of ​​prevention of the Homeless Planning and Intervention Centers in the Algarve (Albufeira, Faro, Lagos, Loulé, Olhão, Portimão Tavira and Vila Real de Santo António), Almada, Barreiro, Leira and the Legos Project (MAPS, GATO and CASA).

The closing session, in which Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa will participate, will also be attended by Ana Mendes Godinho, Minister of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security.
