Bathing ban on Falésia Alfamar and Falésia Açoteias beaches in Albufeira lifted

Beaches were closed to swimming since Thursday

The ban on bathing on Falésia Alfamar and Falésia Açoteias beaches, in the municipality of Albufeira, was lifted this Sunday, September 10th, «following instructions from the Regional Health Authority in light of the result of a new analysis of water quality, carried out by the Agency Portuguese Environment Agency (APA)”.

«After a new analysis of the water quality was carried out on the Falésia Alfamar and Falésia Açoteias beaches, the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) reported that the results of the analyzes indicate that the microbiological values ​​were within quality standards», revealed the Authority National Maritime.

This led to the “green flags being raised again” in these two bathing areas, who had been banned from bathing since Thursday.
