The new Alcantarilha Exhibition Center opens its doors this Sunday, September 3rd, from 18:30 pm, with the “Quebra-Costas” exhibition, which features works by António Dacosta and Júlio Pomar.
This new space is the result of the requalification works of the Old Municipal Market, promoted by the Municipality of Silves.
The event will be marked by the opening of the “Quebra-Costas” exhibition, with works from the Luís Negrão e Família collection (artists represented: Ana Hatherly, António Dacosta, António Vasconcelos Lapa, Heitor Figueiredo, Inácio de José Mendonça, João Queiroz, Júlio Pomar and Liliana Velho Urbano), curated by Hugo Dinis.
The exhibition can be visited at the Alcantarilha Exhibition Center until December 31st, from Tuesday to Saturday between 13pm and 00pm.
Admission is free.
