CCV of Lagos organizes the XNUMXth Live Science Training Meeting

This meeting will be attended by two monitors from each center

The Centro Ciência Viva de Lagos will organize, starting this Monday, September 18th, the VI Ciência Viva Training Meeting. 

The event will run until Wednesday, the 20th and is dedicated to the teams from the 21 Ciência Viva Centers in Portugal.

Program Highlights:

Monday | September 18th

9:30 am – Welcome Session and Presentation of Participants.

10:00 – Do Science Communication I with Luís Azevedo Rodrigues, Director of the Centro Ciência Viva de Lagos. An in-depth exploration of science communication in non-formal educational environments, including the application of Artificial Intelligence in museums and science centers.

14:30 pm – Do Science Communication II. An analysis of the use of digital tools in science communication and their interaction with different audiences.

21:00 pm – Hunt for the Gambuzinos. An interactive activity in the Jardim do Centro Ciência Viva de Lagos.

Tuesday | September 19

9:30 am – Today’s Program is… Outside! A journey through the city of Lagos, discovering science around every corner.

14:30 pm – Science on Board. A unique experience on board a boat trip, exploring Geology and Biology content.

21:00 pm – Let’s Build a Caravel! A practical and iconic activity, focused on teamwork.

Wednesday | September 20

9:30 am – Networked Science Routes and Maker Spaces – Our History!. A sharing of experiences and projects, as well as a discussion about Maker spaces and their potential.

14:00 pm – Guided visit to the permanent exhibition at the Centro Ciência Viva de Lagos.
