Both counted on the presence and collaboration of the respective delegates from the Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade of Portugal (AICEP), in the destinations visited, as well as the presence of the Portuguese ambassador to Sweden Sara Martins.

The final balance, according to NERA's management, «exceeded expectations in terms of participation, totaling more than 40 participants, including reporters and prospectors from specialized agri-food chains».

The main objective was to evaluate opportunities for cooperation and partnerships between companies, in order to “develop a portfolio of contacts and open doors to the internationalization of products premium Algarve».

These actions functioned as a charm operation which included product demonstrations and tastings, followed by networking and international exploratory contacts with high added value segments (haute cuisine, specialized gourmet chains, specialty journalists).

In addition to promoting endogenous resources, this action intended to contribute to the access of Algarve businesspeople to international markets and the dissemination of the region's offer of excellence. At the same time, the project's new agri-food video and brochure were presented as promotional tools.

The menu included products such as honey, jams, olive oil and dried fruits. In the sea component, highlights include salicornia, “green salt” and “white gold” from the Algarve – salt and fleur de sel, as well as pâtés and preserved fish. In the innovation component, the highlight was carob with tablets, syrups and vegetable drinks.

There were also gourmet products and snacks with a predominance of dried fruits and fleur de sel and Algarve wines.
