«Rua de Santo António and its adjacent streets are close to the main administrative and services area of the city, in an urban area with a high traffic intensity that, in addition to presenting several constraints in terms of the pavement, also needed to be intervened with regard to the water and sanitation network and public lighting», says José Carlos Rolo, mayor of Albufeira.
The mayor underlines that, when completed, the work will be an "additional asset for the quality of life and well-being of those who live in the area, at the same time as it will improve circulation conditions for vehicles and pedestrians".
