Zé Luís (ex-FC Porto) reinforces Farense's attack

Athlete is 32 years old and signed a contract until the end of the season

Zé Luís, former striker of FC Porto, Braga and Spartak de Moscow, was announced this Tuesday, August 29th, as a signing for Farense.

The player, a 19-time Cape Verdean international, has a vast CV.

At the service of FC Porto, he won a championship and a Portuguese Cup, both in the 2019/2020 season, and, with Braga, he won a League Cup (2012/2013).

Zé Luís also spent a few years in Russian football, where he was crowned champion for Spartak Moscow (2018), having even played in the Champions League.

In recent years, the striker has played less (a total of 39 matches since 2020), but arrives at Farense with the desire to help the Algarve return to the I Liga.

«I am very happy to return to the Primeira Liga and represent the colors of a historic club like Farense», he said, in his first statements as an athlete for the Lions of Faro.

«I promise to work every day to help the team achieve its goals», he concluded.
