One dead and one seriously injured resulted from the collapse of a wall at a construction site in Bordeira, Aljezur. 

The fatal victim is a 34-year-old man of Angolan nationality, whose death was declared on the spot by the INEM helicopter doctor, he told the Sul Informação source from the Emergency and Civil Protection Command.

The seriously injured man, who has just been transported by helicopter to the Hospital de Faro, is a 37-year-old man of Sao Tome nationality.

There are 19 operators on site, supported by six vehicles.

The alert for the occurrence was given at 16:24.

The Authority for Working Conditions and the GNR are on site to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
