“The man who killed Don Quixote” will be shown in Tavira

The film “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote” will be screened this Monday and Tuesday, 21st and 22nd August, in Cachopo and Tavira. 

Today's session, the 21st, will take place from 21 pm at Largo Francisco Passos, in Cachopo, and tomorrow's session, in Tavira, at the Polidesportivo do Mato Santo Espírito, starting at 30 pm.

This is a film directed by Terry Gilliam and that tells the story of Toby, a cynical advertising director, who finds himself trapped in the delusions of an old Spanish shoemaker who believes he is Don Quixote.

In the course of his comic and surreal adventures, Toby is confronted with the tragic repercussions of a film he made as a young and idealistic man.

Admission is free.

The initiative is promoted by the cultural association Cinemalua.
