Young people from APATRIS21 learn about water safety

Action was promoted by Red Seagull, in partnership with the Elaine Bain Family Trust

The "Aquatic Safety Awareness Action", promoted by Red Seagull, in partnership with the Elaine Bain Family Trust, sensitized, on the 7th of August, the young people of the Association of People with Trisomy 21 of the Algarve - APATRIS21 for safe actions to be taken in emergency situations.

During the activity, young people learned how to act responsibly and safely in places close to water and what to do if someone is in danger and needs assistance.

Lectures, practical demonstrations and simulations of emergency situations were some of the highlights of the program.

Red Seagull is known for its commitment to providing water safety practices and education, while the Elaine Bain Family Trust is an organization renowned for its philanthropic actions and its dedication to supporting social and educational causes.

Filipe Lara Ramos recalls that «this successful collaboration between Red Seagull and the Elaine Bain Family Trust association demonstrates the power of partnerships in promoting positive changes in society».

«Through initiatives like this, awareness of water safety is strengthened and preparedness for risk situations is widely disseminated», says the president of the Red Seagull board.
